Nice nice nice, with the overkill off TED&#8217;s throughout the world there is also an overkill off wannabe Ken Robinson keynote&#8217;s. Through this thickness of all readings sometimes one pops out and grabs you. For me it was this one, a keynote on the power of why!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Voor meer uitleg, waarom een reeks tips van Raj, lees dat <a href="http://kbiri.nl/2009/10/rajesh-leadership-tip-1-youre-not-mother-teresa/">hier</a>. Vorige keer ging het om goed &#8220;nee&#8221; te kunnen verkopen, geen moeder Teresa willen zijn.<br />

Nu is er een tip die luidt als volgt: <em>&#8220;Own the execution not the idea&#8221;</em><br />
</br><br />
Met andere woorden; je kunst best met een idee komen, maar de kunst is om het idee als collectief te laten groeien. Zodat bij de grand finale, wanneer een idee steeds concreter wordt een heel team te hebben dat in het idee kan geloven. Het gevoel hebben dat het idee ook van hen is. Hetgeen wat je moet proberen te eigenen is de executie vanuit een leidinggevende rol. Het uitvoerende gedeelte wat vaak een struikelblok is voor velen omdat ze het idee graag dicht tegen zich aan willen houden, omdat het hun kindje is. Met als resultaat een team van mensen dat niet echt in het idee kan geloven en het dus niet met plezier (de juiste motivatie) zal uitvoeren.<br />
</br><br />
Dus deel het idee, waardoor je automatisch <em>(heb wel een goed team om je heen)</em> de executie ook al grotendeels hebt.<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Al een tijdje ben ik bezig met een project waar jullie asap meer over gaan horen. Rajesh Patel is een van de mensen die erg bij dit project betrokken is. Die zichzelf ook opwerpt als een soort mentor voor mij tijdens dit project. Want hoewel je soms met je trotse kop denkt dat je alles weet, kom je er achter dat je nog heel weinig weet. Vooral op het gebied van managen, structuur en leiderschap word ik aardig bijgespijkerd. Graag deel ik die dingen ook met jullie hier, misschien dat je er zelf wat aan hebt.<br />
</br><br />
In dit geval ging het om mijn onkunde om soms duidelijke beslissing te maken omdat ik het haat om mensen te teleurstellen. Iets wat als ik eraan terug denk vaak uiteindelijk toch weinig goeds opleverde want het resulteerde in bijvoorbeeld twee beloftes die voor de helft af werden gemaakt. </strong><br />
